Carol Timm Wins seat on Upland City Council!

Thanks to all of those that voted for me! It will be a blessing and an honor to serve our city as a Councilwoman. I do not take this commitment lightly. After all of the thousands of Upland residents I have spoken to going door to door, I have a sense of what the major concerns are as well as the pulse of our city. Every part of our city has a different personality and different needs, but we are all part of the one great city of Upland and ALL deserve to be heard. We also deserve a council that will act together. I am truly honored and humbled by your support.

I also had a great group of “Time For Timm” helpers! We have been busy since last November working on this campaign. I am truly blessed by each of you, my supporters! I pledge to work to make Upland the best it can be!

I would like to invite you to my official “Swearing into Office” on December 8, 2014 at Upland City Hall at 7:00pm. There will be a brief celebration during this meeting. I would love for you all to attend! Thanks again for your vote and enduring support!

How old are you and what are your top two priorities?

I am 59 years old and have lived in Upland for the past 31 years with my husband and daughter. My goals are to promote fiscal responsibility and increase revenue to the city by promoting jobs and get businesses to come to Upland through an Economic Development Director. I also seek to maintain and improve our public services like improving our infrastructure, roads, sidewalks and trees. We must stay within our budgetary means, promote economic growth and create more local jobs.
